"I've never believed in God, but I believe in Picasso."
One of the best movies ever made by the greatest lier in the world!!!
Why a liar?
Because Fellini considered himself as a liar. Why? Just beacause everything in his films was fake. They were filmed (for the most of them!) in the studios of Cinecitta, in Rome...That is why.
Of course they were "fake". What else could they be, unless he had rented the Tardis and taken the actors and crew back in time!
Anonimous, I think what le cid try to explain is that Fellini never liked working of studios and he avoided exteriors as much as he could. For example, the sea in "E la nave va..." was just black plastic bags sticked together. FELLINI DIDN'T LIKE TO TURN OUT OF STUDIOS. HE DIDN'T LIKE LOCATIONS. One must be stupid or really an ignorant to post a commentary like yours! I know all about Felliny's work and well, Felliny's genius didn't need the "Tardis" to create the illusion of something real. THIS was the reason he called himself a liar. Reth
@ anonymous two,Excuse me, but is so stupid to think that, if eve, Fellini had the chance to rent the Tardis he'd be so stupid to take the actors back in time with him while he'd be able to get the original protagonists there! Just in case your stupid theory was possible...What a moron!
