Douglas Gordon and Tobias Rehberger spice Ibiza up

Douglas Gordon (whom I had the pleasure to meet and work with), and Tobas Rehberger are some of my favourite artists. Why? Because they're true rebel, real punks... They're currently presenting “After the After”, an exhibition on view until October 4th at the Museu d’Art Contemporani d’Eivissa (MACE), in Ibiza that deals with sexual desire, decadence and melancholy, once the party is over.

“Tobias did the tile piece and I thought it was interesting that it was very homosexual, so I wanted to do something equally homosexual in response,” said Gordon to the Guardian. "Gordon stares at his film, as the faceless hands in the footage grab the neck of their partner in an urgent, lust-filled embrace. “I think it’s beautiful,” he says after a minute." He continued.
