Never Mind The Sex Pistols: rare photographs by Pierre Benain opens at Snap Galleries

The Snap Galleries present a collection of rare Sex Pistols photographs taken in London by Paris-based photographer Pierre Benain. The French photographer was introduced to Malcolm McLaren in the 1970s, and was asked to promote a Sex Pistols gig on the outskirt of Paris. The Sex Pistols played there on 3 September 1976 in front of a mixed crowd including the usual regular fans and the Bromley contingent including Siouxsie Sioux, Billy Idol and more. The artist became friend with the band and later took this opportunity to take personal shots of everyone, before the drama happened... This is an interesting exhibition with never-before-seen photos.
