R.I.P Creative genius and hero David Bowie

I still can't believe I'm posting this. I was dreading this day. I still can't process his death.

Goodbye gentleman, the stars look very different today!

Julian Rosefeldt presents Cate Blanchett at the Hamburger Bahnhof

Still from Manifesto featuring Cate Blanchett - Photo: Hamburger Bahnhof

Berlin's Hamburger Bahnhof will present German artist Julian Rosefeldt's 13 short films featuring Cate Blanchett. This exhibition is travelling from Australia to Berlin and will open in February.

Oscar-winner and goddess Cate Blanchett is seen reading excerpts of texts by important artists such as
Kazimir Malevich, André Breton, Claes Oldenburg, Yvonne Reiner, Sturtevant, Sol LeWitt and Jim Jarmusch, performing with a different look and in a different context everytime.

It feels a bit simplistic, a bit like one of Vezzoli's celebrity films but it still impacting and the whole result is certainly consistent and poetic.

I love it!

Paul Smith collaborates with David Bowie

Ahead of the LCM presentation tomorrow morning at Pace London, titled You Can Find Inspiration in Everything, a new collaboration with David Bowie and graphic designer Jonathan Barnbrook to mark the release of Bowie’s 28th studio album, ★ (Blackstar) and Bowie's birthday was launched last week and features an exclusive T-shirt! Probably the best way to start the year!

Gucci SS16 campaign shot by Glen Luchford in Berlin

The new Gucci SS16 campaign features floral patterns and it's shot in edgy Berlin locations, be it rooftops, toilets, bus stations and shopping centers. Images don't focus on specific celebrity models.

The new designer Alessandro Michele is credited for regenerating the brand and photographer Glen Luchford takes an interesting angle that mixes 70s aesthetics and kitsch for that campaign.
